Located in the heart of downtown Columbus, The Hayden is a prominent historic building that has been thoughtfully restored and modernized for commercial and residential use. This adaptive reuse project required a signage system that balanced functionality with respect for the building’s architectural character.
We were brought in to provide full-scope signage services, working from design through installation and ongoing support.
Scope of work included:
- Collaborative Design Development: Partnered with a Design Consultant to develop a signage system that aligned with both the building’s historical details and the updated interior aesthetics.
- Signage Programming: Created a comprehensive signage package, including sign placement plans, sign types, and consistent messaging strategies to support intuitive navigation for tenants and visitors.
- Life Safety Evacuation Maps: Designed and delivered compliant evacuation maps to support life safety planning in a multi-use environment.
- Interior Signage Fabrication & Installation: All signage was produced in-house and installed by our team with a focus on precision and quality to meet code requirements and client expectations.
- Ongoing Maintenance & Updates: Continue to support the building with signage changes and updates as tenant needs evolve.
Our involvement in The Hayden showcases our ability to deliver tailored signage solutions for historically significant properties while maintaining modern functionality.
